If you’re in the market for a high-quality camera you can take anywhere, then the Fujifilm X10 is well worth its relatively high price-tag. Quality and attention to detail is evident throughout and if you’re prepared to spend some time working throug...
Great looks and build quality; Sharp, realistic pictures; Film simulation modes
None
The X10 looks as good as it feels. The retro styling, dependence on buttons and switches in place of menus, and a sharp, bright lens make it a joy to use. It isn't cheap, but it's certainly built to last, and the quality of its images won't disappoint....
Metal body, sturdy build, Fast zoom lens (f/2.8 in telephoto) with manual controls, Picture quality (lens and electronics), General design and handling, Full HD video with zoom and stereo sound, Optical viewfinder better than competitors' versions
Bulky design, Poor battery life (less than 200 photos), Some annoying design features (no EXR functions in manual mode, no video button), Viewfinder isn't very comfortable, no information displayed, sharpness varies with zoom
With the X10, Fuji has come up with a decent rival for traditional, beefy expert compacts like the Canon G12 and Nikon P7100. It has loads of advanced functions, direct-access settings, physical controls and takes great-quality pictures. Plus, the zoom...
In boasting a high build quality, intuitive handling and a fast lens, the Fujifilm FinePix X10 combines the best of both high-end compact camera types, such as the larger Canon PowerShot G12 and Nikon P7100, with the smaller Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5 and Ol...
Fantastic styling and solid build quality, Manual zoom control is more intuitive, Optical viewfinder is large and bright, Useful EXR and Advanced shooting modes, Fast Fujinon lens produces sharp, bright images
Produces ugly white discs in place of highlights, White balance can take time to adjust
Overall image quality is superb, with the X10 able to deliver consistently sharp, bright and vibrant images. The Fujinon optic particularly impresses, delivering very high levels of corner to corner sharpness while resolving plenty of fine detail too. Tha...
Samenvatting: It's been a strong year for Fujifilm. They've launched a number of well-received higher-end shooters, including the HS20EXR and F600EXR long zooms, and especially the X100 premium compact. They've all had some pretty notable flaws, but each has earned a l...

Great build, bright f2-2.8 lens, excellent images (save for specular highlight issue), zooming optical viewfinder
Specular highlights can morph into white dots, no viewfinder feedback/LCD, 85 percent field of view from viewfinder, no ND filter
A compact like no other: the X10’s retro style is met with excellent performance, an impressive viewfinder, a superb manual zoom lens and bags of on-body controls that make for ease of use. It’s the perfect partner for discerning shooters and far bette...
