Samenvatting: With today's introduction of the Acer Iconia Tab A100, the 7-inch Honeycomb tablet era begins. Vivek and Jarred looked at the new entrant's big brother, the 10.1" A500, and were left . . . well, a little underwhelmed. Some of their complaints are end...
Works well with many Android apps, Great multimedia features,
Short battery life, Bloatware, A bit chintzy-looking,
The Acer Iconia Tab A100 works well with more of Android's 200,000 apps than other tablets do; we just wish we could play with it longer on a single charge. ...

The 7-inch Acer Iconia Tab A100 provides a full Honeycomb experience and its price is lower than those of some of the best 7-inch tablets out there. Its HDMI-out, hardware screen lock, and expandable memory options are welcome extras.
The tablet screen's viewing angle is narrow and the battery drains quickly. Also, you could get a 10-inch tablet for less than $100 more.
The Acer Iconia Tab A100 offers a full Honeycomb experience on a 7-inch tablet, but the fact that a larger Honeycomb tablet is less than $100 away sours the deal.
Reasonably good performance, HDMI-out port, Charges quickly
Truly abysmal battery life, Poor quality display, Thick and heavy considering its size
The Acer Iconia A100 aims to provide all the features and benefits of an Android tablet in a compact design focussing on portability. However, despite the Iconia A100's decent performance, it's ultimately crippled by a poor quality display, mediocre batte...
Solid performance. HDMI-out. Excellent web browsing
Poor screen with awful off-axis viewing. Thicker and heavier than we'd like it to be
A shoddy LCD and a hefty size and weight pull down an otherwise zippy Android Honeycomb tablet. Wait for the price to come down....
