If you want the fastest way to buy things on Amazon, this is your dream device. Comes with a free year of Amazon Prime. Firefly's performance is impressive. Very good camera with wide aperture and optical stabilization. Unlimited online storage for photos
Specs lag behind similarly priced phones. Uninspired physical design. Speakers get loud, but the sound is harsh. No Google Play Store. Old Bluetooth spec means you can't use it with most fitness trackers

Beautiful and smart design, Gestures and Dynamic Perspective great for one-handed operation, Addictive Firefly feature
Gestures can be awkward, take practice, Mediocre camera
Between the user-seeing Dynamic Perspective feature and the Firefly product scanner, the Fire phone is one of the most customer-centric phones ever made — assuming you're an Amazon customer...

Nice hardware, if a little large and heavy for the screen size, Firefly is a genuinely cool feature that could become even more useful with involvement from developers, FireOS can do most of the important smartphone things, with a couple of exceptions, Go
Glass back will smudge, scratch, and crack more easily than other materials, Dynamic Perspective is neat technology with few practical uses as of this writing, AT&T exclusive for now

Samenvatting: The buzziest new feature is what Amazon calls Dynamic Perspective. The four front corners of the phone have cameras.Together, they track your face as it moves; in some apps, the angle of what you're seeing shifts in a startling and very cool way. You noti...
The Amazon Fire Phone has cool "3D" visuals and a fresh OS design, and it hits the sweet spot for one-handed operation. It has deep, convenient integration with Amazon services
Although it costs the same (or more) as competing Android and iPhone models, the Fire Phone delivers a less extensive app store and service experience and more sluggish performance. Battery life is disappointing
Despite its daring aspirations and 3D-like party tricks, the brave, new Fire Phone's lack of Google services will alienate anyone who expects the flexibility of a modern Android phone....
Mayday provides quick access to tech support, Comes with free year of Prime membership, Good call quality
Exclusive to AT&T, no global options, 3D effects can cause motion sickness, Limited ecosystem, Dynamic Perspective and Firefly need some work, Unique features hamper battery life and performance
Amazon's debut phone isn't bad, per se, but there's little incentive for anyone to switch carriers or platforms to buy it. Its unique features don't provide enough utility, and come at the expense of both battery life and performance....

Firefly is good at what it does. Not perfect, but good. Whether or not you should be or need to be impulse buying everything you see from Amazon, Firefly helps you do it, so long as physical things you are trying to buy generally include some sort of pack
Fire OS is fine, but as an operating system for your primary mobile device, it is notably inferior to Android, iOS, or even Windows Phone 8.1. The lack of Google apps is a big handicap, and the lack of robust alternatives (Windows Phone at least has all t
Nope. Definitely not. None of the Fire Phones flaws are totally insufferable, but theres just no reason to suffer them at all. Fire OS is workable but mediocre as a smartphone operating system, and the hardware doesnt bring anything to the table that c...

Just as with the Kindle and the Kindle Fire HDX before it, the Fire Phone's premise is clear: give Amazon customers a straightforward way to consume the retailer's content, as well as buying more of it. Everything, from the UI through Firefly to the cle...

Samenvatting: Following the success of the Kindle Fire, an Android-based tablet, rumours have been flying for many months that Amazon was working on development of its own phone. Well rumour has now become reality as the giant company announced the Fire phone, an Amazo...
