New more modern design, Dual alarms, Rotary dials work well – good for seniors, USB ports on the back (were on the front in V1), Auto-dimming so it won't be too bright at night, Reasonable sound quality – as good as most premium alarms, Power-fail protect
Slightly larger – approx. 50mm deeper than V1. This is only an issue if side table size is limited, Would have liked 5V/2A USB-A ports but 1A do the job
